Situated in the central part of the Madonie on the top of a height, this town still preserves its medieval urban plan. The main attraction are its hot springs.Major monuments include the impressive baroque Badia (abbey), the church of Santa Caterina and the Mother church which originally was the Castle chapel. You may notice its beautiful neo-gothic door and the several artworks it features, such as a Roman sarcophagus.
